David Brackett has served as first chair litigation counsel for individuals and companies of all sizes in all phases of civil litigation and alternative dispute resolution. A substantial part of David’s commercial litigation practice has involved business torts, corporate governance and shareholder disputes, trade secrets, and unfair competition.
David has also engaged in a significant amount of pro bono representation, including the successful representation of a group of senior citizens against a high interest loan company, a challenge to Georgia’s photo ID requirement for in-person voting that caused the state to repeal and modify the law, and a successful appeal in a case to which he was appointed by the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals to represent an indigent party.
David has been recognized by other leading lawyers in Georgia as a Rising Star in Atlanta Magazine (Law & Politics Media).
