Tim Rigsbee represents both plaintiffs and defendants in all phases of business litigation, including mediation, arbitration, trial and appeal. 

His areas of concentration include business torts and commercial matters, corporate governance, employee covenants, employment litigation, and professional liability

Tim earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder.  He graduated number one in his law school class at Northern Illinois University, where he received numerous academic and writing awards.  He has written articles on commercial matters, civil rights, civil procedure and class action litigation, and served on the Editorial Boards of the Northern Illinois University Law Review and the DuPage County Bar Journal. 

After law school, Tim worked as a law clerk for Justice John L. Nickels of the Illinois Supreme Court.  In his five years in that position, Tim obtained a valuable insight into how judges make decisions and how to avoid costly litigation errors.  

Tim strives to provide the highest quality legal services for his clients, while at the same time maintaining the highest degree of professionalism in his relationships with the bench and bar.  His broad experience and efficiency provide cost-effective case management for high-stakes litigation.

Tim is a member of the Atlanta Bar Association, Litigation Section, the Georgia Bar Association, and assisted in the formation of Georgia’s Lawyer v. Lawyer dispute resolution program.  Tim is a member of the Lawyer’s Club of Atlanta and participated as a barrister for the Lumpkin Inn of Court (2001-2002). His civic interests include the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation and Everybody Wins!, a reading program for disadvantaged youth.
