Ronan Doherty represents both plaintiffs and defendants in all aspects of civil litigation and alternative dispute resolution.

His areas of concentration include antitrust, appellate litigation, class actions, intellectual property and commercial contract litigation.  In addition to representing clients such as The Home Depot, Inc., Marriott International, Inc. and Claria Corporation, Ronan has performed a significant amount of pro bono work, accepting appointments from both the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.

Prior to joining the firm, Ronan served as a law clerk for two Judges on the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit:  the Honorable Stanley F. Birch, Jr. (1997-1998) and the Honorable Phyllis A. Kravitch (1998-1999).  Ronan also spent more than two years as an associate in Sullivan & Cromwell's Washington, D.C. office, where he concentrated on antitrust matters for clients such as Microsoft Corporation and British Airways plc.

Ronan graduated from the University of Virginia's School of Law in 1996 and from the College of William & Mary (with high honors) in 1993. While at Virginia, Ronan earned the Order of the Coif and served both as a member of the University of Virginia Law Review Editorial Board and the Executive Editor of the Virginia Journal of International Law.
