Alison represents plaintiffs and defendants in complex litigation and business disputes, including professional liability, contract disputes, class actions, business torts and civil RICO claims. She has recovered tens of millions of dollars for the plaintiffs she has represented, as well as defeating multi-million dollar claims brought against corporate defendants.
Alison earned dual undergraduate degrees with a B.S. from Wharton and a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania College of Arts and Sciences, where she was a Joseph Wharton Scholar and a Benjamin Franklin Scholar.
Prior to attending Harvard Law School, Alison worked as a management consultant at Oliver, Wyman & Co. and later at American Express in its Strategic Business Group, where she was awarded a “Ring of Reward” for her contribution to the company.
Representative cases
- Successfully defending a Fortune 50 retail company against a multi-million dollar trade secret claim
- Successfully defending a telecom company in a commercial contract dispute
- Representing a small business in a contract dispute against a Fortune 500 energy company
- Negotiating employment and partnership agreements for a series of individuals and small businesses
- Currently represents Taser International and some of its shareholders in a lawsuit alleging that eight Wall Street firms have engaged in naked short selling to manipulate Taser’s stock price in violation of securities and other laws
