Bondurant, Mixson & Elmore, LLP has a wealth of experience in the full spectrum of intellectual property litigation, including patents, trademarks and unfair competition, copyrights and trade secrets.

The firm has handled important litigation relating to computer and electronic technology, software and the Internet. In addition to cases involving the protection of service marks and trademarks, our attorneys are experienced in handling trade dress cases and claims under the Deceptive Trade Practices Acts of various states. In the area of trade secret protection, the firm handled some of the earliest litigation that defined the scope of the Georgia Trade Secrets Act of 1990. (Avnet, Inc. v. Wyle Labs, Inc., 263 Ga. 615, 437 S.E. 2d 302 (1993)). We have extensive experience litigating the enforceability of confidentiality, nondisclosure, non-solicitation, non-competition and related provisions in employment, franchise, and sale of business agreements.

The firm has successfully represented many large and smaller corporations and individuals as plaintiffs and defendants in cases involving misappropriation of trade secrets and confidential information, both inside and outside of the departing employee context.

In all areas of intellectual property litigation, as in all other areas of our practice, the firm is accustomed to acting quickly, often on short notice, to protect the interests of our clients.
